Letra
(You don’t want to mess with Poseidon…)
(Curse upon your golden throne…)
(Cetus… wake up)
Foolish queen in ivory towers, looking at your face,
Did you think my sacred nymphs were trophies in your race?
Nereids wept beneath the tide, weeping in the foam,
Now the crushing fury strikes your little mortal home! (bow before me!)
Cast your hollow words like ash into the howling wind,
No Olympus prayer will wash the sacrilege you sinned!
Every kingdom pays a price when emperors go blind,
Blood and saltwater the only legacy you find! (tread the deep!)
You traded off your pride for a crown of endless dread,
Now chain your weeping princess to the barren crags instead!
Let Andromeda tremble where the waves begin to roar,
My judgment rises hungry from the ancient seabed floor! (tear the chains!)
Cetus rises from the deep!
Crushing waves where gods will weep! (gods will weep!)
Open jaws of iron black,
Striking on the titan track!
Menkar burning in the foam,
Hunting down the broken throne!
(Heed the trident! Heed the sea!)
No salvation from my decree!
(Heed the dark! Heed the tide!)
Drown forever in your pride!
From the trenches of the void, ancient scales awake,
Dragging down the coastline till the marble pillars break!
Watch the daughter stripped of hope, chained against the rock,
Sacrificed to silence all your vanity and talk! (hollow queen!)
Deneb Kaitos lashes out, the serpent’s heavy tail,
Every mortal army turning terrified and pale! (strike the stone!)
Look into the velvet dark, look into the skies:
Mira pulses in his heart, the demon never dies! (Mira awakes!)
A beating crimson beacon, vanishing from sight,
Then blazing back in fury through the winter night!
Three hundred days of slumber, then the monster feeds,
A cosmic beast remembering your mortal wicked deeds!
Poseidon’s iron sentence carved in burning star and sand:
The sea monster rising to consume the dying land!
(Menkar tears the sky!)
(Mira burns!)
Cetus rises from the deep!
Crushing waves where gods will weep! (gods will weep!)
Open jaws of iron black,
Striking on the titan track!
Menkar burning in the foam,
Hunting down the broken throne!
(Heed the trident! Heed the sea!)
No salvation from my decree!
(Heed the dark! Heed the tide!)
Drown forever in your pride!
Mira blinks…
The sea never forgets.
(Menkar)
(Deneb Kaitos)
The monster rules the dark.
